The original Oktoberfest occurred in Munich, on October 18, 1810 to celebrate the marriage of Crown Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen.   Today Oktoberfest celebrates being happy, eating great tasting food, and of course drinking beer.  In Orlando there are a variety of locations where you can enjoy all the German themed fun with your family and friends.

Orlando Brewing
Orlando, FL
Starting September 25th the festivities will include the first tapping of the worlds only organic Oktoberfest Beer, Live German Music, corn-hole competition, local artisan vendors, and a limited edition commemorative souvenir mug will be available. If you’re hungry, local food artisans will be on-site to prepare bratwurst, sausages, hotdogs, and veggie dogs.

Celebration Town Center
Celebration, FL
On October 8th and 9th, Celebration Town Center transforms before your very eyes as the falling leaves of the season drop on Market Street in the all new Fall Festival known as Oktoberfest. Listen for the rustling of leaves, relax by the lakeside and rock your troubles away, or enjoy the live music with family and friends in this one-of-a-kind themed extravaganza.

Downtown Avalon Park
Avalon Park, Fl
Come enjoy Avalon Parks Oktoberfest which features German Music by Europa and Alpine Dancing by Schuhplattler Gruppe Alpenrose.  Magic Curtain Productions will be performing their brand of live entertainment along with games and contests.  Walk through the Beer Garden for adults or take the little ones through the Root Beer Garden for kids.  Enjoy all this and more on October 8th and 9th.
