8 tips from a local to outsmart the theme parks

  1. Bring Ziplock Bags to protect your phone from the water, there have been way too many times where a guest has forgotten this step and has gone on a ride only to find that their phone no longer works. If you do forget to pack ziplock bags you can always buy them at any supermarket or convenience store,
  2. Take a picture of your parking spot with a camera or a cell phone just in case you forget where you parked. This will remove the hassle of trying to find your car after a long day at the parks where all you want to do is leave and go to your vacation rental in order to relax and perhaps prep for the following day, Take a picture upon leaving your car that way you can look back at your phone's camera and find your spot easily.
  3. Pack enough ponchos for everyone in a bag you can easily carry, please do not forget to do this as there will be water rides you will want to go on. I suggest a poncho instead of an umbrella because all you have to do is put a poncho on and it covers your whole body so you won't get wet if you do not wish to do so, and remember no matter the weather forecast it is known to rain in Florida around 4pm sometimes sooner so even if the forecast calls for no rain I would recommend packing a poncho so you are prepared for anything.
  4. Head to the park early get some rest the night before and wake up early so you can make it to the parks without any added stress of forgetting anything you may need, plus you can avoid most of the lines to the best rides if you arrive early. If you do not wish to wake up early you can always head over in the afternoon when most of the guests are leaving, but I suggest getting up early so you can enjoy everything the park has to offer and then go take a nap in your Vacation Home.
  5. Buy a rechargeable phone case as much as we don't want to admit it, we are all human and as such we stay on our phones constantly. So in order to avoid a phone dying in the middle of an important call, please buy a rechargeable phone case before you go to the parks.
  6. Walk the park backwards start at the end of the park and work your way up so you can avoid all the long lines for the most sought after rides. Who knows you may be able to ride more than once if your lucky
  7. If you have children write your phone on their wrists this will help, especially if your child wanders off you can also write the number down on your child's shoe. Just make sure to use skin shield which makes the number permanent for 24 hours.and acts as a liquid bandage
  8. Designate a meeting spot should anyone get lost Getting lost is a very unfortunate event and can lead to alot of unwanted stress, if your phone happens to die and you can't get in touch any other way then finding a spot to go just in case is a great way to reunite with your group.
